There are a few signs that your Dallas/Fort Worth sewer line may be in need of repair. The plumbing professionals at Everflow Plumbing are expertly trained to diagnose and repair your sewer line. Here are a few warning signs to be on the lookout for to know if your Dallas/Fort Worth home is in need of a sewer line repair:
If you have a foul odor throughout your house, it may be a sign that you have a sewer line that needs repair. The smell may be distinct or it may be musty. When your sewer line is intact, you will not be able to smell anything from it. However, a broken line will leak odors into your home. If you are encountering this issue, call Everflow Plumbing today!
While all toilets do make noises when they flush, it should not gurgle when not in use. If your toilet continuously runs or bubbles, odds are you have a damaged sewage line that necessitates a repair. You want to address this issue quickly by calling the professionals or else sewage can get in your toilet.
If you have a patch of grass in your yard that appears to be growing quicker and greener than the rest of your grass, chances are you may have a sewer line in need of repair.
Mold on your walls may be a sign of increased humidity inside your home, which could be the result of a leaky pipe. This could even happen in parts of your house without plumbing fixtures. It is best to call a plumbing professional from Everflow Plumbing if you notice mold or discoloration on your walls to rule out a sewer line leak.
What appears to be a puddle in your yard may actually be septic wastewater pooling up. If you notice this happening, specifically on a dry day, you should call Everflow Plumbing as soon as possible to have it addressed.

Steven and his partner, forgive me I don’t remember his name, came out two days in a row. They worked until the leak was found and repaired. It was far from an easy job and they everything up and running. They went above and beyond in my book.

There are a few different techniques that plumbers use to repair broken sewer lines. Among them are drain clearing, hydro jetting, and rooter service. Call (469) 908-3665
today to schedule an appointment with a Everflow Plumbing technician to determine how best to repair your broken sewer line.
A broken sewer line can be caused by many things; various obstructions can cause a leak, tree roots can protrude through a sewer line, and old age can lead to the eventual breakdown of a sewer line. No matter the cause, the professionals at Everflow Plumbing can diagnose the problem and repair your sewer line quickly!
The most severe sign of a main sewer line break is the puddling of septic wastewater in your yard. This indicates a main line break that needs to be addressed by a professional. However, there are other less severe signs that can be indicative of a sewer line break. If you suspect your main sewer line is broken, call Everflow Plumbing today!
Yes, a broken sewer line can be dangerous. Damage to your main sewer line can cause significant structural damage to your home and if left untreated, can lead to cracks in your home’s foundation, a settled foundation, and/or even sinkholes (pools of septic waste). If you have a broken sewer line, call Everflow Plumbing to have it repaired right away.
Over time toilet paper and other debris can clog up a sewer line as they get snagged on the tree roots that often infiltrate sewer lines. Flushing sanitary products, feminine hygiene products, facial tissues, paper towels, or even extra-thick toilet paper can severely clog up your sewer line over time. It is best to avoid flushing anything down your toilet other than toilet paper to avoid unnecessary sewer line clogs.
The main culprit of a collapsed sewer line is typically tree roots. Tree roots naturally seek out water so they are highly attracted to all of the moisture that exists within your sewer line. Unfortunately, these tree roots can end up growing into the actual pipe itself, through the joints, and after decades of use, the tree roots degrade from the constant exposure to moisture. Eventually, the sewer line itself will weaken to the point of completely collapsing. If you are struggling with a collapsed sewer line, call Everflow Plumbing to help you replace it right away.

I can't speak for the plumbing aspects, but Chad, who is responsible for their HVAC service, is an absolute star. Most recently, my condenser went down because of a capacitor. My wife and I had been out of town and came home to a 90°F house. Fortunately, I had the Ecobee app that Chad talked me in to a couple of years ago. I texted Chad and he was already at the house working when we pulled in. Initial help, and the geat again. Chad came right back out, found the second offending piece and got it working. He is my go-to HVAC guy, no matter where he's working.
